This summer's Most Exciting Event was a trip to Tennessee for a dear friend's wedding!
The bride, Hannah, asked me to be the second shooter, which I immediately said 'yes' to, and then I found out who the primary was going to be: Kathryn Grace! Kathryn & I have emailed here and there, I follow her blog, she and her sister, Tara, are dear friends of the bride and her sister,
Since we've met in person now, and did a wedding together, we decided to be 'real' friends...being in this business and having mutual kindred spirits does that to photographers :D
Rachel & her family came too! She and her sister Erin did lovely work with the flowers and helped with just about everything on the wedding day. Hannah asked Sarah, their pianist sister, to play for the ceremony and reception. The music was beautiful!
The rest of the weekend was so restful. Casual meals, trips to the coffee shop, catching up on life & laughs...mhm...wonderful.
My family and I were so grateful to be a part of Hannah & Jeremy's special day, so many answers to prayer...the Lord's ways are the best ways, His timing for marriage is a.l.w.ay.s perfect.
P.S. The groom's family made a gift basket for me! The seaside theme (so me!!) was accented with coffee, chocolate, and a candle (to light during editing marathons). Thank you, White family!!
