Essential oils have been a part of my life for a long time, but they’ve become part of my daily routine over the past two years and my days are much more merry because of them!
The holiday season can be stressful, whether full of joyous happenings, hard things, or a mix of the two, and our bodies work diligently to keep us going!
Whenever possible (okay, daily) I like to have a diffuser running in the house, and often I’ll put the same oils in it for days in a row! Young Living oils are the BEST ones I’ve tried :) Essential oils are really popular these days, you’ll see them advertised in lots of health and home products, but since they aren’t pure (even though the label will claim it!) they won’t help you at all. Just comparing a bottle of Young Living oil to one from a store by smelling them side by side will prove which one is better!
Tree oils are some of my top favorites! If you think of a tree, it has roots buried in the ground, and that’s how tree oils make you feel: grounded. settled. “un-squirrel-y”. Which is exactly what we need during stressful times!
Fun fact: a bottle of Northern Lights Black Spruce from Young Living has a whole tree in it! From roots to needles! It’s excellent for super stressful situations applied topically or in a diffuser.
Christmas Spirit (red label below) is a blend of cinnamon, orange, and black spruce is perfect for this time of year and is delicious with any of the other tree oils! (I’ve been diffusing it nearly non stop!)
Diffusing is such an easy way to fill your home with uplifting, healthy, aromas, and decrease stress! When we inhale oils it causes the brain to produce endorphins and serotonin which calm us down and make us happy. If you could use more happy in your life, we should chat!
